Privacy Policy
G2Fuels, Inc. ("G2Fuels," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit www.g2fuels.com (the "Site"), how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices available to you.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
The Site does not require an account. The only place you can submit information directly is the contact form on our Contact page. The contact form opens your local email client with a pre-filled message; it does not transmit information to a G2Fuels server. When you choose to send that email, we receive whatever you include — typically your name, email address, optional company name, subject category, and your message.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, our web servers and analytics service automatically receive certain information, including:
- IP address and approximate geographic location derived from it
- Browser type and version, operating system, screen size, and device type
- Referring URL and pages viewed on the Site
- Date, time, and duration of your visit
- Mouse movement, clicks, scrolling, and form interaction (collected by our session-analytics provider — see below)
Cookies and similar technologies
The Site uses a small number of first- and third-party cookies set by Microsoft Clarity (our analytics provider). These cookies help us understand how the Site is used and improve it over time. The Site does not use cookies for advertising, retargeting, or cross-site tracking.
Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies. Blocking cookies will not break the Site, but it may reduce the accuracy of our analytics.
2. How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- Operate, secure, and improve the Site
- Understand which pages and topics are useful to visitors
- Respond to inquiries submitted through the contact form
- Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, or technical problems
- Comply with applicable laws and enforce our Terms of Use
3. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We share information only in these limited cases:
- Service providers. Vendors that operate the Site on our behalf — including our hosting provider and Microsoft Clarity (analytics) — receive information necessary to perform their services. They are bound by contractual or platform-level terms restricting use of that information.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information when we believe in good faith it is required by law, subpoena, or court order, or is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of G2Fuels, our personnel, or the public.
- Business transactions. If G2Fuels is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
4. Third-party analytics
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the Site. Clarity captures aggregate analytics and session recordings (such as mouse movement, clicks, and scrolling) on our behalf and may use cookies and similar technologies. Information collected by Clarity is governed by Microsoft's privacy practices. For more information, see Microsoft's privacy statement at privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement.
5. Data retention
We retain server logs for the period required to operate and secure the Site, generally no more than 12 months. Microsoft Clarity retains analytics and recording data on its own schedule — typically up to 13 months. We retain contact-form messages for as long as reasonably necessary to handle the inquiry and our records.
6. Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No internet transmission or electronic storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights with respect to your personal information, including the right to know what information we hold, the right to request correction or deletion, and the right to opt out of certain processing. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is no "sale" or "share" to opt out of.
To exercise any right, contact us using the details at the end of this policy. We may need to verify your identity before responding. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
U.S. state privacy laws
If you are a resident of California, Texas, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, or another U.S. state with a comprehensive privacy law, the rights described above are available to you under that law. The categories of personal information we collect, the sources, the purposes of collection, and the categories of recipients are described in Sections 1–4 of this policy.
EU/UK visitors
G2Fuels is based in the United States and the Site is intended primarily for U.S. visitors. If you access the Site from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the legal basis for our limited processing is our legitimate interest in operating and improving the Site, or your consent where required. You may have rights under the GDPR or UK GDPR, including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
8. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. Do Not Track
Some browsers transmit a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no industry-standard interpretation of this signal, and the Site does not respond to it differently from any other request.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site for a reasonable period. Your continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
