Former CEO of Peak 10 Energy, an independent upstream producer in the Permian Basin. Spent a decade in energy investment banking at Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse, and Guggenheim Securities. Prior operational and strategic leadership at Memorial Resource Development, Quantum Resources, and Devon Energy — including General Manager for Devon's operations in Egypt — with earlier assignments at Kerr-McGee in the Gulf of Mexico and China. Carlos Rivera
Chief Engineer
Carlos is a mechanical engineer at G2Fuels, where he supports the development and execution of natural gas-to-liquids (GTL) technologies and process systems. His work spans mechanical, electrical, and process engineering disciplines, including the design, fabrication, integration, and operation of pilot GTL equipment and infrastructure. Before joining G2Fuels, Carlos worked at V Gas, contributing to the design and fabrication of ASME pressure vessels and modular skid-mounted process equipment for industrial and energy applications. At G2Fuels, he has been involved in the development of Fischer-Tropsch and GTL systems including reactors, reformers, compressors, pressure vessels, catalysts, instrumentation systems, and supporting process equipment. Carlos holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Mechatronics from the University of Monterrey. During his studies, he completed internships with major manufacturers including John Deere, Frisa Aerospace, and Ternium.

Has led large cross-functional engineering teams, designed B2B platforms processing millions of daily transactions for Fortune 100 partners, architected the omnichannel insurance platform powering Toyota's largest extended-warranty provider, and built repair and logistics platforms supporting Dell, Lenovo, and Apple service operations across North America. Earlier work at DeWalch shipped a complete manufacturing ERP and a commercial IoT platform now operating at commercial scale across the Americas. B.S. Computer Science, Western Governors University.

35+ years in engineering, operations, maintenance, and capital projects. Career began at The Dow Chemical Company with plant and site leadership in the U.S. and Germany, including Phosgene Derivatives and Specialty Fuels. Built and led the Reliability organization for the Sadara Chemical JV in Saudi Arabia, commissioning 26 world-scale plants with best-in-class safety and operational performance. 22+ years executing fuels, LNG, and petrochemical projects. Previously Director of Engineering at Nacero, leading multidisciplinary teams in data-driven project execution and technology roadmap optimization. Led 50+ Instrumentation & Electrical designers and engineers for IHI E&C greenfield installations, and served as Enterprise Products' I&E Coordinator across multiple fractionation facilities and the Mont Belvieu PDH unit.
